Piano/Voice Teachers Wanted

Bach to Rock Redmond is a growing, agile and highly rated music school. This position is for a part-time employee(s) to provide music and performance lessons especially in piano and/or voice, but also other instruments such as guitar. We provide an opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. We handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing and other business aspects of the lessons & group classes so that you can focus on teaching. Position Responsibilities: Teach private lessons in piano, voice, (and other) located at our Redmond, WA school Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble Help students work on performances Optional - Teach group lessons or rock bands/ensembles Optional - Teach recording arts and/or record sessions in our recording studio on Pro Tools Requirements: Must be able to read music notation and have a good understanding of music theory Must possess advanced technique and be able to demonstrate this on their primary instrument(s) Effective time management and organizational skills to be on time for lessons and keep students on task Comfortable as a performer (either solo or group) Ability to be engaging with both children and adults with a variety of personalities Ability to pass a background check B2R offers an hourly rate that is based on education, experience, expertise, and availability.
