**Course: Practical Theory for Modern Musicians**

A hands-on introduction to essential music theory concepts such as scales, chords, rhythm, and form. Students apply these skills to popular music using tools like the Nashville Number System. The course includes ear training, analysis, and practical demonstrations. No prior theory experience is required.

**What You Will Do:**

* Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
* Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
* Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.

**What You Will Bring:**

* **Minimum:** Master of Music in Music Theory, Composition, or a related area that includes coursework and professional experience in the area of commercial music and songwriting.
+ Experience using a variety of DAWs. Minimum of 3 years of college level teaching experience.
* **Preferred:** DMA or PhD in Music Theory, Composition, or a related area that includes coursework and professional experience in the area of commercial music and songwriting.
+ Experience using a variety of DAWs. Minimum of 3 years of college level teaching experience.
