Pre-College and Continuing Education Program Manager

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music is looking for a Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of the Pre-College and Continuing Education Divisions, serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, and faculty and managing all office functions of the division. * Management of all office functions in the Pre-College and Continuing Education * Service as the primary point of for students, parents and faculty to provide information and resolve problems and discrepancies * Maintenance of the Pre-College and Continuing Education database (ActiveNet) in collaboration with the Assistant Director and Project Manager, and ensuring that all accounts and registrations are current and accurate * Logistics management for Pre-College and Continuing education concerts and recitals * Creating, editing, and managing concert and recital programs * Updating the Performance Calendar * Supervision of student assistants and stage managers on Saturdays * Processing registrations and payments, issuing transcripts, soliciting and entering grades, and generating reports through ActiveNet * Coordinating Continuing Education Registration with the Assistant Director; compiling course information; creating ActiveNet courses; and communicating with faculty and assisting students with registration * Coordination and execution of all set ups for classes, rehearsals and performances * Coordinating jury and audition schedules * Performing other duties as assigned. * A minimum of two (2) years professional experience working in the field of arts education with a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent required * A strong background in music and an appreciation for music education * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with exemplary planning and organizational skills * Highly adaptable, positive, and patient * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to maintain strong working relationships with SFCM administrative staff, faculty, students, parents, and alumni * Ability to work with and maintain complex database systems * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive Applications * Successful completion of a criminal background check is required for the selected candidate SFCM's Pre-College division is an immersive program that instills the value of music in young children and teens, providing an artistic framework and tailored instruction for the next generation of musicians. SFCM Continuing Education division offers a variety of musical opportunities designed to suit all levels of interest and aspiration in both private instruction and group study.
