Preschool - 8th Music Teacher

You will create a vibrant classroom environment where students develop their musical skills, confidence, and appreciation for the arts. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive music curricula tailored to preschool through 8th-grade students, incorporating elements of childhood development, literacy education, math, and social-emotional learning.Plan and deliver engaging lessons that utilize various teaching methods, including hands-on activities and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage participation and respect.Track student progress, and facilitate communication with students and parents.Adapt instructional strategies for students with disabilities or special education needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusive participation in all activities.Prepare students for performances, assessments, and standardized testing related to music education while providing tutoring or extra support as needed.Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives such as library services integration or Montessori-inspired approaches to enrich the overall educational experience.Requirements We are dedicated to supporting our educators with professional growth opportunities and resources that inspire innovation in teaching while ensuring every student’s success in a vibrant learning community.Work Location: In person
