We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Music Teachers (Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums, and Violin preferred) to join our growing team of 20+ talented music educators. With hundreds of students and rapid expansion across our schools, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving musical community.
The ideal candidate will bring both skill and heart — someone who fosters a positive, encouraging environment for students of all ages and experience levels through one-on-one and/or group private lessons. You’ll design creative lesson plans, apply effective teaching methods, and help each student grow musically and personally.
School Hours:
Our schools typically operate weekdays from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’ll work with your schedule to find the best consistent fit.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level and learning style.
• Teach instrumental and/or vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of varying ages, including children and adults.
• Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Prepare students for recitals to showcase their progress and encourage their confidence in performing.
• Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns or questions.
• Stay updated on new teaching methods, curriculum development, and music education trends.
• Provide and maintain a consistent weekly schedule availability that will not be affected by other obligations (gigs, doctor’s appointments, frequent trips, etc.).
Experience & Requirements
• Experience working with children, teens, and adults in one-on-one and/or group class settings.
• Knowledge of music theory, technique, performance practices, ensemble performance, composition and/or songwriting.
• A creative, patient, and energetic approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively engage young learners.
• A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students through innovative teaching methods.
• Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus.
• Experience teaching multiple instruments is a plus.
• Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
