We are always looking for subs for these instruments: piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, voice, and drums. This is a great way for us to get acquainted!
We are looking for teachers who can teach children and adults. You must be positive and warm with students.
A degree in music preferred, that or many years of experience. We are looking for a teacher with availability at least 3-6 days during the week (Monday-Saturday). Music lessons are in demand, and you should expect to start getting students pretty quickly after starting.

Our goal at the school is to nurture a student’s love of music, while building a strong foundation in music.
This is a contractor position, no taxes are taken out and you will receive a contractor 1099 at the end of the year. Pay starts at $28-$30/hr based on experience.

Collecting payments, enforcing school policies, registration, direct deposit, taking phone calls, rescheduling, and maintenance of the teaching rooms and building are all handled for you with our dedicated office staff. We seek teachers who are not only skilled musicians, but are also kind, patience, and and good at adapting to their students' needs and personality.
You must have the ability to maintain a consistent schedule.
Schedule:
We are looking for teachers with availability from 3pm-8pm during the week (at minimum) or Saturdays with 9am-2pm available (or 10am-3pm). You would need to commit to at least 3 days of teaching availability, any combination of days, or more!
Keep in mind that building your roster will take a few months.
Duties:
- Teach private and/or group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Provide instruction in music theory, technique, and performance skills
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Bonus: Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance music instruction
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent years of experience
- Previous experience teaching music to students of different ages and abilities
- Strong knowledge of music theory, and performance techniques
- Ideally: Ability to play one or more musical instruments proficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Lesson management skills to effectively engage and motivate students
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and strategies for different learning styles
