Private Percussion Instructor

Lakeside School of Music is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging Percussion Teacher to join our growing team! Teach students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.Create engaging, personalized lesson plans that help students build confidence and reach their musical goals.Teach a variety of percussion styles and techniques, including rhythm, reading music, coordination, and performance skills.Participate in recitals, summer camps, workshops, and special musical events throughout the year.Collaborate with a friendly and supportive team of dedicated music educators.Continue growing professionally in a positive and creative atmosphere.We're Looking for Someone Who: Has strong percussion performance skills and a solid understanding of rhythm, technique, and music theory.Can teach drum set and concert percussion (experience with marching percussion, hand percussion, and mallet instruments is a plus).Enjoys working with children, teens, and adults.Is dependable, professional, patient, and encouraging.Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Has previous teaching experience preferred, but passionate musicians with strong instructional skills are encouraged to apply.Position Details If you're passionate about teaching, inspiring students, and helping others discover the joy of making music, we'd love to welcome you to the Lakeside School of Music family.
