The Chaplain Service at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA, is seeking a Substitute Musician to provide sacred music for worship services. This position is specifically needed for October 21, 2025, but applicants are welcome to apply even if not available on that date, as future opportunities may arise. Qualifications • Must be educated/experienced in church/liturgical music. • Must provide a list of qualified substitute musicians or cantors. • Provide sacred/spiritual music for weekly worship services and special ceremonies (e.g., Last Roll Call of Remembrance, Ash Wednesday, Christmas Cantata, Good Friday, CPE Graduation, Dedication of the Battlefield Cross) at both the uptown and downtown chapels of the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. • Be available for weekly worship services and additional ceremonies per the Chaplain Service schedule, maintaining flexibility.
