The Program Associate is the first point of contact for our existing and new members and supports HAAM’s Musician Services department. This position also works to improve organizational efficiency and increase depth and breadth of services. Duties/Responsibilities • Primary responsibility to respond to musician inquiries in-person, email, phone or text • Conduct in-person and virtual new member appointments • Provide navigation for musicians to community resources • Respond to phone and email inquiries from existing and potential members • Create internal referrals for complex navigation • Determine program eligibility and process enrollments for new and renewing members • Orient musicians to HAAM’s core programs and services • Provide support during annual Open Enrollment • Provide administrative support for Musician Services department • Complete data entry for assigned projects (e.g., dental claims, Premium Assistance Payments etc.) • Complete reports as assigned • Participate in community based events for our members • Other duties as assigned Experience/Skill Requirements • Strong personal alignment with, and commitment to, HAAM’s mission • 2+ years experience in customer service, program support, social services programming, administrative support, and/or healthcare navigation • Can-do spirit and a natural ability to build positive relationships quickly • Self-starter who embraces new challenge and is internally motivated to succeed • Strong communication skills, both in-person and thorough email • Comfortable with and skilled in: • Troubleshooting challenges and comping to responsible solutions • Balancing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously to deliver high quality work • Strong attention to detail • Working as part of a team • Working with diverse populations • Representing HAAM in the community • Reliable transportation
