Protestant Music Director

Duties: Plan, direct, and lead music for Protestant worship services, ensuring a vibrant and engaging worship experienceSelect and prepare appropriate contemporary and traditional worship music in collaboration with the responsible chaplainLead the praise and worship team, including vocalists and instrumentalists, in weekly rehearsals and Sunday servicesPlay an instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar) to support worship services as neededPrepare and manage worship presentations using presentation software for servicesRecruit and train volunteer musicians and singers to enhance the worship experienceCoordinate musical elements for special services such as Christmas, Easter, and other Holy Days Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience leading a church or chapel music ministryProficiency in playing and leading worship music on at least one instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar)Strong knowledge of Protestant worship styles, music traditions, and contemporary Christian musicAbility to read and transpose music, arrange compositions, and direct vocal and instrumental groups Powered by JazzHR
