Protestant Musician

This part-time position requires a dedicated individual who can lead the choir, sing, and play a lead instrument, such as the piano or guitar, during scheduled services and special events. The musician will be responsible for providing music activities that cater to various worship styles, including Protestant Gospel, Contemporary, Liturgical, and Traditional Services. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Protestant Musician will work closely with the Service Chaplain to select appropriate musical pieces for worship. Leading the praise team and congregation in worship is a significant aspect of the role, requiring strong vocal abilities and a passion for music ministry. Additionally, the musician will be tasked with recruiting and recommending high-quality music volunteers from the JBSA community, fostering a spirit of teamwork and collaboration within the music ministry.
