Perform the music and include a prelude, postlude, accompaniment for all hymns and when needed by the choir. Play either the organ or the piano in support of the choir as it learns the music necessary to lead the congregation in the worship services and provide special anthems and other musical numbers. Must have equal qualifications and approval of the Fort Meade Protestant Chaplain. Must have a minimum of five years' experience, preferably in a Christian worship service setting. Must be able to transpose music as well as play most hymns found in the accepted service hymnal at first sight while maintaining a sing able, appropriate tempo, rhythm, and registration at the instrument.
