The Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) Traditional Protestant Worship Service Musician is a contract position responsible for providing musical services during worship services, special events, and seasonal observances. The musician will coordinate with the chaplain in charge to ensure appropriate musical selections and accompaniment, while also managing any necessary substitutions of personnel. , • Ensure all musical selections are appropriate for the specific type of worship service and Christian season, with approval from the JBER Senior Protestant Chaplain. , • Knowledge of Protestant Traditional music is required, with proficiency in playing piano from sheet music or hymnal. , • Ability to administer documentation of services performed and payment for submusician services.
