Located in central Pennsylvania and Maryland, Menchey Music Service has served the needs of students, parents, music educators and local school music programs since 1936 If you have a passion for music and helping others on their musical journey, we would love to speak with you today In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by: - Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc. Requirements Education and Experience Required Experience: - HS Diploma or GED - General knowledge of musical instruments and written music with the ability to play at least one musical instrument - 6+ months retail, customer service or sales experience Necessary Competencies - Interaction with Others - Oral and Written Communication - Music/Instrument Knowledge – Basic understanding of types of musical instruments - Technical Literacy – Proficient Computer Skill (MS Office especially Excel) - Individual Contributor Competencies - Work Management and Dependability - Interpersonal Relations - Social Abilities - Job Knowledge - Accurate and Complete Work COMPENSATION Total compensation will include base compensation plus commissions, paid out monthly and if eligible, a bonus paid out yearly.
