United Academy of Music and Arts is an inclusive music education and therapy provider serving children and adults of all abilities across California. Our programs are personalized, goal-oriented, and designed to support the developmental, emotional, and social needs of neurodiverse individuals through the power of music. As an Adaptive Music Instructor, you will lead individualized music lessons that are customized to the strengths, interests, and goals of each participant. Qualifications • Proficiency in at least one musical instrument or vocal instruction (required) • Experience teaching or supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral support needs • Ability to plan engaging, goal-driven music activities for nontraditional learners • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to sessions • Strong interpersonal, communication, and recordkeeping skills • Empower students to grow through music in a creative and inclusive environment • Take the lead in designing your own lessons with behaviorally-informed strategies • Enjoy a flexible schedule with paid orientation, supervision, and team support • Make a difference by combining your clinical skills and artistic talents
