Location:** Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum

** Position Summary: ** The Retail Lead at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the museum's retail store. This role involves enhancing the customer experience and maximizing sales while ensuring that the store reflects the mission and values of the museum.

** Key Responsibilities:**-

**Leadership:** - Supervise, train, and motivate retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service. - adequate coverage during peak times.-

**Sales Management:** - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for restocking and new product selections. - Analyze sales reports and trends to make informed decisions regarding promotions and product placement.-

**Customer Experience:** - Foster a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors. - Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. - Organize in-store events or promotions that align with museum exhibits and programs to drive traffic.-

**Merchandising:** - Ensure that the retail space is visually appealing, well-organized, and representative of the museum’s brand. - Curate product selection to highlight local artists, music history, and museum exhibits.-

**Administrative Duties:** - Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, and preparing bank deposits. - Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.

**Qualifications:**- Previous retail or supervisory experience, preferably in a museum or similar environment.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Knowledge of music history and appreciation for the arts is highly valued.- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items to 30 pounds.- Willingness to perform tasks that involve walking, bending, and reaching.*

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
