Bach To Rock B2R Americas Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking a Rock Band Coach to work as a part-time employee providing music and performance lessons to bands Band Coaches teach small groups of young musicians to collaborate listen and work together as a successful band that performs writes and recordsRock Band Coaches at Bach to Rock embrace a philosophy of a well-balanced music education to inspire students to perform the music they love in a group of their peers B2R teachers develop musicians who enjoy performing recording in our studio and even composing original musicPosition Responsibilities Teach bands and ensembles using B2R curriculum and cover song arrangements Guide students in developing their own original music Create an encouraging fun and focused rehearsal atmosphere Assist at B2R events May... repair equipment as needed and ableRequirements Must have an understanding of all instruments in the band drums guitar bass piano voice Must demonstrate an understanding of music theory and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a productive rehearsal Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities Experienced performer and band leadermember Experience working with youth andor beginning musicians Ability to interact effectively with children and adults Ability to pass a background checkBach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians We handle the marketing scheduling booking billing and other business aspects of the lessons amp group classes so that you can focus on teachingB2R offers an hourly rate that is based on education experience expertise and availabilityThis Bach to Rock is locally owned and operated by Opus 521 IncJob Type Part-timePay 2000 - 2500 per hourSchedule Monday to Friday Weekend availabilityAbility to commuterelocate Jacksonville Beach FL 32250 Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work RequiredApplication Questions What instruments can you teach and play B2R instructors must be able to read musical notationEducation High school or equivalent PreferredExperience Teaching 1 year PreferredWork Location One location
