About the Position Our Music Instructor is a passionate educator dedicated to enriching lives through performance-based music education. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Music Instructor who embodies rock and roll and can create a valuable student experience that helps our students learn music and life skills. • Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals • Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using our proven teaching method • Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching method • Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments for at-home practice • Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school • Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program • Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities school Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful as a Music Instructor, you will need: • At least 2 years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally • Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design • Strong customer relations skills and excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers • Strong organizational skills • Resourceful; good problem-solver • Works well under pressure • Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor • Passion for teaching Benefits
