Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clergy to choose suitable music for Masses and events, adhering to Catholic liturgical guidelinesRecruit and coordinate volunteer musicians, including choir members and instrumentalistsPlan and lead rehearsals to prepare for servicesWork with pastoral teams to integrate music into worship, creating a harmonious liturgical experienceLead musical elements during Masses and encourage congregational participationPromote spiritual and musical growth among musiciansMaintain equipment and music resourcesFoster community within the music ministry and coordinate activities with other church ministries
Qualifications:
Proficiency in vocal and instrumental musicKnowledge of Catholic liturgy and music traditionsExperience in choral conductingStrong organizational and communication skillsDedication to enhancing worship through music
