Job Overview: The objective of this acquisition is to provide continuity of operations and uninterrupted musician services for the Roman Catholic program, and to support the missions and responsibilities of the Naval Station Newport Chapel Command Religious program... · The musician shall recommend relevant musical selections to the officiating Chaplain; lead the congregation in appropriate worship music with the support of a choir and/or praise team; train choir and/or praise team members for performance. · The musician shall be available within forty-eight (48) hours’ notice (either verbal or written), to provide Musician/Praise Team Leader services as necessary to the Roman Catholic program. In lieu of Associate’s degree, the Roman Catholic Musician / Choir Director must have three years (consecutive or cumulative) of demonstrated specialized experience in the field if religious music programs management, directorship and implementation.
