We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Sacred Music to join our parish community. As a key member of our liturgical team, you will be responsible for leading the music program and ensuring its excellence. About the Role: • Lead the planning, organization, and implementation of all aspects of music in our parish • Direct and conduct choirs, instrumental ensembles, and other musical groups • Collaborate with the pastor, other clergy, and staff members to ensure seamless integration of music into worship services and events • Recruit, train, and mentor musicians and vocalists to enhance the overall quality of our music programs Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in music or related field (master's preferred) • Proven experience as a choral conductor, organist, or keyboard player in a parish setting • Strong knowledge of Gregorian chant and ability to incorporate it into our liturgies • Familiarity with pipe organs and their maintenance • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Our parish offers a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
