About the Role: The Director of Sacred Music is responsible for planning and managing a comprehensive sacred music program for the parish. • Develops and implements a vision for sacred music in the parish • Collaborates with the Pastor to plan and coordinate liturgical music for parish and school events • Recruits, schedules, rehearses, and supervises cantors, choirs, and instrumentalists for all liturgies • Supervises and maintains the parish's musical resources, spaces, and instruments To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy, as well as experience with Gregorian Chant, choral music, and polyphony.
