About the position Responsibilities • Provide organ or piano music for the Saturday evening Mass, including prelude, hymns, Mass parts, psalm accompaniment, and postlude. • Accompany the cantor and/or ensemble as needed with attentiveness to balance, tempo, and expression. • Rehearse and prepare all music prior to the liturgy. • Familiarity with Catholic liturgical music, hymns, and the structure of the Mass.
