Strait School of Music | Southwest Austin Strait Music Company is seeking a School of Music Attendant to staff the front desk at the Strait School of Music, located in Southwest Austin (3201 Bee Caves Rd, Austin, TX This role is the heartbeat of our music school. Key Responsibilities • Greet students, families, and guests in a warm and professional manner • Sell, schedule, and manage private music lessons • Serve as a primary point of communication for students, parents, and instructors • Maintain accurate records and handle daily administrative tasks with attention to detail • Support instructors with scheduling needs and general school logistics • Assist with general upkeep and organization of the school facilities • Help ensure the front desk and common areas are welcoming, organized, and presentable • Provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Qualifications • Interest in music or experience in a music-related environment • Experience with scheduling, point-of-sale systems, or administrative support • Ability to remain calm and positive in a busy environment
