Summary This seasonal position requires availability through September 30th, with mandatory onboarding on June 13th, 14th, 30th or July 1st (date selected based on your availability and location). Qualifications • Passion for music and familiarity with Band & Orchestra instruments • Ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and coworkers • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including during school events and evenings • Team-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills • Must be available to attend onboarding • Must be available to work part-time or full-time through September 30th Requirements • Availability to work 15–20 hours per week in July, with option to increase up to 40 hours per week in August/September • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude • Ability to follow through with assigned tasks and prioritize under pressure • Basic familiarity with accounting and POS/cash register systems • Willingness to learn and uphold Bertrand’s Music’s values and standards • Mandatory onboarding attendance • Part-time or full-time availability through September 30th Responsibilities • Greet and assist guests with warmth and enthusiasm • Provide excellent product knowledge and service for Band & Orchestra rentals and accessories • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked merchandise displays • Accurately process sales, rentals, and returns using our POS system • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth in-store experience for customers • Support off-site events as needed, including school nights and weekend promotions • Help educate customers about instrument care, product options, and rental processes • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and store presentation • Contribute to a positive, music-loving environment every day
