Substance is currently hiring professional security staff to join our growing team in Downtown Las Vegas. We are looking for individuals who understand that great security is not about ego or intimidation — it is about professionalism, awareness, communication, and creating a safe environment for guests, artists, and staff.

This is a high-energy music venue environment that requires strong judgment, reliability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staffEnforce venue policies professionally and consistentlyVerify IDs and monitor entry pointsAssist with crowd management during events and peak hoursDe-escalate conflicts calmly and effectivelyMonitor venue areas for safety concerns or suspicious activityCommunicate clearly with management and fellow team membersAssist with emergency response procedures if neededProtect artists, performers, VIP areas, and venue property when necessaryWhat We’re Looking For
