New Venture Christian Fellowship, a multi-cultural, non-denominational, high- energy church in San Diego’s North County (Oceanside) is looking to add a dedicated, part-time Worship Leader & Music Director to our Worship Arts Team, responsible for helping to create an environment where everyone is welcome and our global church family can genuinely “Experience God.” New Venture Christian Fellowship is looking to add a Dynamic Worship Leader and Music Director to our Worship Arts team, to share Leadership responsibilities with our Creative Arts Praise & Worship Leader. Both positions work closely with the Senior Pastor in developing, organizing, and coordinating various Worship Ministries at New Venture. -Creating a worship experience that reflects the heart and DNA of New Venture -Creative alignment with the church culture and philosophy of worship -Engaging, clear communication and spiritual leadership from the stage -Build and develop multiple worship teams -Draw people into the Presence of God through effective, excellent and powerful worship -Lead worship for select weekend Celebration Services -Chart and arrange a portion of music in support of campus initiative -Provide leadership, coaching and development for musicians within the campus worship community -Oversee all musical direction, band and vocal leaders -Set clear direction for and expectations of each Team Leader by helping him/her establish concrete and inspiring objectives for his/her team -Develop each team leader to his/her potential through regular and effective coaching -Expand the leadership base of the ministry by identifying, inspiring and mobilizing future leaders -Work with Administrative Support to print/copy needed material -Provide strong spiritual and musical direction/leadership of band and vocal volunteers during rehearsals -Participate in audition processes -Schedule serving teams -Build Christ-centered relationships with: Senior Pastor and Church Staff, Ministry Partner and New Venture -Church Family -Oversee Campus Worship Ministry at City Church and work to meet their needs -Create an environment that supports feedback, opinions and ideas from those in and around the ministry; as well as a culture that regularly seeks God and celebrates the fruit He has provided. New Venture remains committed to building into people who will RELEASE their gifts back into the community through a variety of programs, activities and ministries, addressing the needs, hurts and interests that unite all people.
