Skilled Musician for Ballet Classes

As a vital member of our school, you will provide musical accompaniment for ballet classes and contribute to the artistic vision of our institution. About this role As a Dance Accompanist, you will be responsible for playing piano repertoire for various ballet classes. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality piano accompaniment for ballet classes • Work collaboratively with teachers to achieve artistic goals • Maintain a professional atmosphere in the classroom • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Requirements • Advanced-level piano skills and proficiency in performing a wide range of repertoire required for ballet class • Previous experience playing for ballet technique/pointe classes is recommended • Ability to work with teachers in a wide variety of styles and rhythms • Experience in providing and maintaining a professional atmosphere within the classroom • Knowledge of ballet terms/repertoire and ability to improvise is preferred Benefits Our part-time benefits include: • A robust employee assistance program • Paid sick time in accordance with local regulations • Complimentary tickets to select cultural performances What we offer
