Social Media Content Creator

North Star Jazz Workshops is a Twin Cities jazz community offering small-group ensembles, classes, private lessons, jam sessions, clinics, and performances. We're hiring a part-time Social Content Creator to help develop and manage our social media presence — planning, capturing, editing, and publishing content that reflects the people, music, and community behind North Star. Write clear, natural captions that reflect North Star's voice. Qualifications: Experience shooting and editing short-form vertical video; strong instincts for storytelling, pacing, and spotting engaging moments; familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and current short-form practices; ability to plan and complete work independently; able to attend programs and events throughout the Twin Cities, including some evenings and weekends; and a genuine interest in music, arts, education, or community-based organizations. Preferred: experience creating content for musicians, artists, venues, or educational/community organizations; familiarity with the Twin Cities music scene; experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Canva; knowledge of jazz.
