Contract Type: Independent Contractor 4-6 sessions per week Compensation: $75 per session* Beyond The Natural Foundation (BTNF) is a non-profit organization created to serve youth by engaging them in music education and performance to provide expressive therapy and inspiration for creating greater life opportunities. BTNF travels onsite throughout Maryland to after-school programs, recreation centers and summer camps, rehabilitation centers i.e. juvenile correction centers and mental health agencies, group homes and foster care, and many other organizations that provide support for our youth. This position will be responsible for engaging youth in music education and performance. Morning, afternoon and evening hours are available. Instruction Area needed • Steel Drum Instructors must possess the following qualities: • Positively Energetic • Organized • Great with kids Skills Required • Applicant must have experience playing different styles of music • Applicant must have interest/experience instructing entry-level to intermediate students • Applicant must be able to plan engaging sessions for small groups of kids/teens This position is ideal for musicians looking to use their musical gifts to give back to the youth of our communities.
