We are inviting local musicians to perform live in outdoor areas across San Francisco on August 6–7. Selected artists will have the opportunity to showcase their music in some of the city’s most iconic public spaces, introducing their performances to new audiences while professionally capturing their work as part of a project aimed at exploring the future of music education. This initiative is designed to be enjoyable for musicians and delightful for San Francisco’s residents and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

Perform a 1–2 hour live set during one of three daily time slots: LUNCH (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM), AFTERNOON (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), HAPPY HOUR (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Perform at various high-foot-traffic locations across the city, ensuring to secure desired locations and related logistics
Wear event apparel during the performance and feature signage explaining microsessions
Be filmed and recorded by a production crew during the set

Qualifications

Solo musicians or groups of 1–3 people
Availability for a 1–2 hour set on August 6–7 (playing on both days is welcomed)
Ability to perform at a location permitted or approved for play
Responsible for own instruments/equipment with related costs included in quoted rate
Able to share a video or portfolio link showing past performance
Comfortable being filmed and recorded per the terms provided
