The role focuses on providing instruction to elementary through high school students in a pre‑college program. What You’ll Do: Provide one‑on‑one and small group instruction to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels Select and teach appropriate scales, etudes, and repertoire tailored to each student’s development Coach chamber ensembles and support collaborative performance experiences Prepare students for solo recitals, concerts, and ensemble performances Partner with fellow String School instructors, parents, volunteers, and program leadership to support student success Participate in monthly teacher meetings and contribute to program planning and improvement What You’ll Bring: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Bass Performance or Music Education Demonstrated experience teaching string bass to elementary, middle, and/or high school students Experience with both Suzuki and traditional pedagogical methods
