The Itinerant String Specialist works closely with music teachers across multiple schools to support student learning in music and string instruction, serving students in grades 5•12. The primary instrument of study for this position is strings. Reliable transportation is required in order to travel between school sites. The String Specialist collaborates with school-based music teachers and key stakeholders to develop and sustain high-quality orchestra programs beginning in fifth grade and continuing through high school.
