We are seeking energetic and experienced Strings (Violin and Cello) Faculty members to join our team at BSMA! The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching students ages 4 and up, and Adults in private and small group classes. This is an in-school (not in-home or online-only) position.

A college degree in music is preferred., with a focus on Violin. Performers who have 10+ years of teaching experience, are experienced performers, great with children, and have an outgoing personality are encouraged to apply. Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities:
Provide a fun and engaging experience for students.Become trained, and certified in delivering our lessons programKeep internal lessons progress notes Prepare students for community performances and school performancesMay prepare students for competitions as BSMA rep, or for special auditions.Will teach small groups and bands weekly (recurring group class pay rate is higher than range listed)Qualifications:
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related fieldSolid Violin performance experience and teaching ability - across multiple genresReliable attendance historyAbility to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience in 1-on-1 and group settingsMust pass background test, showing suitability to teach childrenCan work independently, and be directed occassionallyExcellent verbal and written communication skills OrganizedIdeally 2+ years' experience teaching music to ages 4 to Adult.
