232 Music Studios is a growing, mission-driven music school serving families through group-based music education. We are looking for a strong operational leader who can manage people, systems, and client experience with confidence and professionalism.

This is not an entry-level admin role. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for studio operations, team accountability, and delivering an exceptional experience for families.

Position Summary

The Studio Manager oversees daily operations, staff supervision, client relations, event coordination, and administrative systems. This role ensures smooth studio operations while protecting our culture and maintaining high service standards.

Schedule Requirement

This position requires consistent availability during our peak operating hours:

Afternoon & Evening availability (approximately 1:00pm–8:00pm)
Saturday availability required

Our studio operates primarily after school and on weekends, so this schedule is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management

Supervise front desk and lobby operations
Manage staff scheduling and time-off requests
Lead weekly operations meetings with Directors
Co-lead monthly staff meetings
Maintain accountability and professionalism across team
Support hiring and training of front desk staff

Client Relations & Customer Service

Deliver exceptional customer service to parents and musicians
Handle conflict resolution and parent concerns
Manage pauses, withdrawals, and retention conversations
Oversee intro lessons and enrollment support
Support teachers with student behavior or red flag situations

Operations & Administration

Manage studio database and scheduling software
Oversee billing processes and documentation
Prepare monthly withdrawal and capacity reports
Maintain organized internal systems and workflows
Supervise studio audits and administrative processes

Event Management

Coordinate recitals, open houses, showcases, and community events
Manage deadlines and task delegation (Asana or project tools)
Oversee event logistics (setup, food, décor, teardown)
Represent studio professionally at public events

Facility & Technology Oversight

Provide basic IT and tech troubleshooting
Coordinate equipment repair/replacement
Maintain a clean, organized, professional facility environment

Qualifications

2+ years of management, operations, or studio leadership experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience in customer service, team leadership, or operations management
Confident in conflict resolution and decision-making
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with scheduling systems, databases, and communication tools
Experience in education, music schools, or service-based businesses preferred
