We are committed to transforming public health through equitable, data-driven solutions.VMG is seeking aSubstitute Roman Catholic Musician (RCM)to provide piano and/or organ accompaniment in support of the weekly Roman Catholic Mass at Main Post Chapel, Fort Jackson. This role supports the spiritual life of Soldiers, Families, and authorized personnel by enhancing worship through appropriate sacred music consistent with Roman Catholic liturgical tradition.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide musical accompaniment for the weekly Sunday Roman Catholic MassPerform prelude, offertory, communion, congregational hymns, and postlude musicSupport liturgical responses and congregational participation during worship servicesCoordinate with the Roman Catholic Chaplain and chapel staff regarding music selection and service flowSupport choir members or cantors as neededArrive prior to scheduled services to prepare and support worship activitiesMaintain a professional, respectful, and worship-appropriate presence at all timesRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience performing music in Roman Catholic worship settingsProficiency in piano and/or organ accompanimentWorking knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy and Mass structureAbility to collaborate effectively with clergy, chapel staff, and volunteersStrong sight-reading and adaptability for liturgical musicPreferred QualificationsFormal music training, certification, or liturgical music experienceExperience supporting military chapel programs or faith-based worship servicesWork ScheduleApproximately 3 hours per weekSunday Mass support (9:30 AM service)Includes preparation and performance timeOccasional coordination outside of scheduled service hours may be requiredWork EnvironmentWork performed in a chapel setting during worship servicesRequires professionalism, flexibility, and respectful interaction within a military religious environmentSecurity & RequirementsMust be able to obtain and maintain installation accessMust complete required security and awareness training within established timelinesMust comply with Army Chapel and installation policies and procedures#J-18808-Ljbffr
