Substitute Singer

The history of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is inseparable from the history of Denver, a visible sign of the Catholic faith’s presence in Colorado and the West for over 100 years. Candidates should have a knowledge of styles of various eras in choral music, such as chant, polyphony and large SATB choral works of all eras. A minimum of a Bachelors of Music degree, (or a current enrollment in an undergraduate music degree, or extensive study,) is a requirement for consideration. Qualifications and Competencies: • The Candidate should be able to sight read music at a professional level. Availability to sing at the following times: • Sunday 10:30 AM Cathedral Choir • Wednesday rehearsals at 7 PM
