The San Diego Symphony Orchestra invites musicians to audition for the substitute Timpani position. This opportunity is open to candidates who are willing to travel to San Diego on a per-service basis. Currently, there are no full-time or part-time contract positions available, and the San Diego Symphony does not provide travel assistance for substitute musicians.Auditions will take place on October 22, 2026, with a complete audition repertoire list to be provided soon.
