Summer Camp Music Teacher

Music Teachers at Bach to Rock use B2R curriculum to provide students of all ages an inspiring and well-balanced music education. Teach Summer Camp sessions using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangementsCreate an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphereMay repair equipment as needed and able.Requirements: Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to studentsMust have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrumentEffective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lessonComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalitiesExperienced performer (either solo or group)Experience working with youth and/or beginning musiciansAbility to interact effectively with children (ages 3-17) and adultsAbility to pass a background checkRate: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this position.
