This role is ideal for individuals with a background in dance, choreography, or musical theatre who enjoy working with children and can confidently lead a structured, high-energy classroom environment. Monday–Friday (one-week commitments) Choose one shift: Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Afternoon: 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM Opportunities to work multiple weeks or combined shifts are maybe available based on availability and performance Please indicated in your application which weeks of camp you are available, the weeks of camp are: Aristocats - June 8-12 Best of Hamilton and Six - June 15-19 Mean Girls July 13-17 Best of Wicked July 20-24 Audition Prep/Triple Threat Camp July 27-31 Lead and manage a group of students ages 7–12 in a structured camp setting Teach and/or assist with: Basic choreography Musical theatre performance (movement, staging, expression) Group activities and rehearsal processes Maintain a positive, high-energy classroom environment Ensure strong classroom management and student engagement Collaborate with other instructors to prepare a weekly performance showcase Communicate clearly with staff and follow daily camp structure and expectations Experience working with children (ages 7–12) is required Background in at least one of the following: Dance (studio, team, or performance-based) Choreography Musical theatre Strong classroom management skills (this is critical) Ability to lead a group confidently—not just assist Reliable, punctual, and professional High energy and ability to keep kids engaged for a full session Can you please indicate if you would prefer the morning 9am - 12pm, or the afternoon shift 12:30pm - 3pm, or both?NOTE: If you need both shifts in order to be interested - please note that only applicants with previous directing/production experience specifically for children ages 7-12 will be considered for combined shifts.
