Summer Music Camp Leader

B2R Summer Camps run weekly from May 30th - August 9th, Monday through Friday from 9am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-4pm. Summer Music Camp Leaders at Bach to Rock embrace a philosophy of well-balanced music education to inspire students to learn and perform the music they love in a group setting! Position Responsibilities: Must demonstrate a basic understanding of music theory and be able to communicate those concepts to students Multi-instrumentalists are preferred (especially for those interested in teaching Rock Band Camp) Experience using DJ or Music Production software and equipment (for those interested in teaching Intro to DJ and/or Beat Making Camp) Vocal training background (for those interested in teaching Glee Club Camp) Effective time management and organizational skills to keep a group of students on task in a productive rehearsal Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities Experienced performer and band leader/member Experience working with young children (including students of toddler or pre-k age for those interested in teaching Rock City World Tour Camp) Past teaching experience is a plus, most notably in music Ability to interact effectively with both children and adults Ability to pass a background check Bach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians.
