SUPPORT MUSICIAN – PART-TIME

Compensation: $275 per week
Reports To: Senior Pastor
Mt. Zion Baptist Church – Woodlawn is seeking a gifted and dependable Support Musician (Keyboard/Piano/Organ) to join our Music & Arts Ministry.
The ideal candidate will have experience playing in a church setting and be proficient in traditional hymns, gospel, contemporary gospel, and praise & worship. Candidates must be able to play by ear, follow chord progressions and musical cues, and work collaboratively with choirs, praise teams, soloists, and other musicians. Ability to read standard musical notation is strongly preferred.
The position includes Sunday worship and one weekly rehearsal (currently Thursday evenings). Additional services or special programs may be compensated separately.
