Mission: Conservatory Lab Charter School empowers a diverse range of children as scholars, artists, and leaders through a unique and rigorous academic and music education. The ideal candidate will help to support a unique school culture and develop skills to support students through professional development, and coaching. Duties and Responsibilities: • Partner with lead teacher to support optimal learning environment for students • Work as co-teacher/teaching assistant within the classroom • Implement the lead teacher’s lesson plans • Utilize a variety of pedagogical approaches to effectively support large and small group lessons for violin/viola/cello students as well as mixed string ensembles. • Help create and implement music integrated classroom projects in collaboration with the curriculum developer and classroom teachers. • Utilize feedback to reflect on skills and improve performance to improve supports for students • Substitute for classroom teacher during meetings, professional development as needed • Supervise assigned lunch and recess duties • Attend and assist with concerts and performances in and out of school, as needed.
