This course will focus on the importance of critically engaging with teaching and research, particularly in relation to historically underrepresented and marginalized composers and communities in music education. • Teaching experience with inquiry-based pedagogy and culturally responsive teaching practices is essential for this role. • We require all faculty members to utilize the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) to organize their classes. • All scheduled classes must be offered as assigned and listed in the course schedule throughout the entire semester or term. • Maintain evidence of commitment to equity and inclusion through research, teaching, and service.
