Teaching Artist

This role contributes to program delivery through facilitation, preparation, communication, recording support, performance participation, and collaboration with program staff and peer Teaching Artists. The Teaching Artist-Core is responsible for meeting program expectations, participating in professional development and rehearsals, and supporting a welcoming, respectful, and creative environment for participants. • Participates in album recording sessions, rehearsals, and related artistic preparation to support program recordings, performances, and celebrations. • Experience in collaborative songwriting, recording, or live performance strongly preferred. • Ability to collaborate effectively with participants, community partners, Teaching Artists, and Overture staff.
