Tech & Music Director

To support and lead the technical and musical execution of worship services and ministry events at First Baptist Church of Stockton. The Tech & Music Director assists the Worship & Creative Arts Pastor by helping lead musicians, operate technical systems, and develop volunteer teams while ensuring services are executed with excellence and consistency. Schedule volunteers for services, rehearsals, and events c. Foster a culture of excellence, unity, and servant leadership d. Provide coaching for both technical and music teams Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Ability to play an instrument and lead within a worship environment Experience with Multitracks, Ableton, or similar platforms (or willingness to learn) Strong understanding of audio, visual, and lighting systems Experience in church worship or live production environments preferred Ability to direct musicians and understand worship flow Experience recruiting, training, and leading volunteers Familiarity with systems such as ProPresenter, Planning Center, and digital audio consoles Basic familiarity with IT systems (Apple/Windows environments, networking basics) Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to work Sunday–Thursday with flexibility for events and special services Teachable spirit with a servant’s heart Assist the Worship & Creative Arts Pastor or designee as needed Perform other related duties as assigned in support of worship services and ministry events
