Streetwise Sales is an independent manufacturers' representative firm serving the pro-audio and musical-instrument industries. They are seeking a territory sales representative based in the Washington, DC area to develop relationships with various clients and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
Responsibilities
Develop relationships with music retailers, pro-audio dealers, AV integrators, production companies, rental houses, and houses of worshipVisit existing customers and prospective accountsConduct product demonstrations, trainings, and sales presentationsComplete merchandising and training assignments at selected retail locationsIntroduce new products, promotions, and dealer programsIdentify new accounts, projects, and sales opportunitiesFollow up with customers and maintain activity in our CRMSubmit brief reports and photos after completed field activitiesParticipate in periodic team and manufacturer meetings
Skills
Lives in the Washington, DC metro areaHas proven sales experience with pro audio, musical instruments, commercial AV, lighting, DJ equipment, live production, or a related fieldEnjoys meeting customers and demonstrating productsIs comfortable developing new business and maintaining relationshipsIs organized, responsive, and able to work independentlyHas reliable transportationIs available for weekday customer visits and occasional regional travelPrevious manufacturers' representative experience is helpful but not requiredWe also welcome music-store employees, audio professionals, AV specialists, working musicians, DJs, production professionals, and account managers who want to move into territory sales
