The Events and Donor Relations Manager

The highest priorities of the Office of the CEO are to steward and cultivate current donors, create new relationships and partnerships in the community, and develop a sustainable income model. The Events and Donor Relations Manager is responsible for organizing fundraising events, managing donor relationships, and ensuring smooth logistics for donor engagement efforts. Skills: • Event Planning & Management: Experience organizing events, from large galas to intimate donor gatherings.- Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and logistics.- Vendor negotiation and contract management. • Donor Relations: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with donors.- Experience in creating strategies to engage and steward donors.- Communication skills, both verbal and written, for donor outreach and follow-ups • Data Management & CRM Systems:Proficiency in using donor management systems like Salesforce, DonorPerfect, or Raiser’s Edge.- Advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) for tracking donations, generating reports, and analyzing donor trends.
