The University of Minnesota, Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, has an occasional need for part-time, temporary theatre arts or dance musicians to provide live music accompaniment to day or evening classes. Positions may be appointed any time during the 2023-2024 academic year: 08/28/2023 - 05/26/2024 or summer 2024. • Must be able to play a variety of music with a broad stylistic range and improvisatory flexibility. • For theatre accompaniment, must be able to read and play relatively difficult music by sight. Preferred Qualifications • Experience accompanying dance and/or theatre classes and performances with a wide range of styles.
