Therapeutic Musician

Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Part Time Therapeutic Musician who is a vocalist with guitar or piano accompaniment experience to provide musical programs for the elderly in various facilities/locations. In this role, you will be responsible primarily for facilitating musical activities, connecting and engaging with the audience through music, creating reports, and providing 1-on-1 or group music services to elders. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and facilitation skills, have prior music experience, understand appropriate music for a specific generation or audience, and be interested in growing with the company and learning non-musical services as we work towards our goal to become a full-service therapeutic firm. of elders • Connect and engage with the audience through music • Deliver a combination of 1-on-1 music and group music services to elders and motivate them to participate • Demonstrate proficiency and understanding that the service we provide is to enrich the residents’ lives through primarily musical and some non-musical activities • Conduct occasional market research to identify new customers and execute marketing tasks for identified opportunities • Open to learning non-musical services and providing such services to clients • Other duties assigned by the management • This role demands a certain level of physical exertion and agility to efficiently perform essential tasks.
